David March

 

 

 

Coach March begins his fourth full season on the sidelines for the Seahawks. March came to the Wilmington campus from Cal State Dominguez Hills where he served as an assistant coach for two years.

Prior to Cal State Dominguez Hills, March was an assistant coach at El Segundo and St. Monica High schools from 1997-2006. During this time, he helped his teams earn eight C.I.F. berths and move multiple players on to the next level.

As Loza’s top assistant at Harbor, Coach March is responsible for many aspects of the program, including practice management, recruiting, scouting, player development and on-floor coaching.
    
“David is a valuable asset to our program,” Loza says of his associate head coach.  “He’s a hard worker, a relentless recruiter and very knowledgeable of the X’s and O’s of the game. His work ethic and determination are responsible for many successes both on and off the court here at Harbor Community College.”

Coach March received his first undergraduate degree in Business Marketing from Cal State Long Beach in 2001 and a teaching credential and second bachelor degree in Kinesiology in 2006. He earned his master’s degree in Physical Education Administration from Cal State Dominguez Hills in 2008.

 

March is engaged and currently lives in El Segundo, CA.
