SEAHAWK SOFTBALL
earned three All-South Coast
Conference honors as Sarah
Barba, Natalie Ayala and
Andrea Scott were recognized
for their efforts this season.
Barba (Sophomore, Infielder)
was named to the All-SCC
Second Team, as she led her team
with 35 RBI, while batting .371
with 37 runs scored and two
home runs on the year.
Ayala (Freshman, Pitcher) was
the Seahawks' ace this season,
setting a school record with 27
complete games and fanned 146
hitters this season en route to an
18-12 record this season and
All-SCC Second Team honors.
Scott (Sophomore, Outfielder)
had a breakout year from her
freshman campaign, hitting .316
with 18 RBI and a team-high
three triples, all while blasting
three homers and scoring 18
runs. Scott earned All-SCC
Honorable Mention.
FUND-RAISING SPONSORS NEEDED
With the current budget crisis within our state education system fund-raising has now becoming an ongoing year round reality for athletic programs. The Harbor College Softball Program is seeking thoughtful sponsors who are interested in assisting our fund-raising needs.
Alumni, Local Businesses, Unions, and/or Individuals that might be interested in assisting our fund-raising efforts are invited to donate. A tax deductible ID number is available to all those who donate.
All donations should be made out in care of the Harbor College Softball Program and sent directly to the HarborCollege campus business office.
