Dennis D. Griffith, Instructor in Child Development, received his M.A. in Education with Emphasis in Early Childhood from CSULB. He joined the LAHC faculty in 2000, on a full-time basis after many years as a part-time instructor. He brings with him extensive experience in the field working as teacher/Assistant Director of New Horizons Child Development Center. Teaching Assignments include: Child Growth and Development, Early Childhood Principles and Practices, Creative Experiences for Children, Programs for Exceptional Children and the School-Age Child. Areas of Expertise: Early Childhood Literacy/Education and Promoting Positive Self-concept in Children Outside Interests: Spending time with family and woodworking
