The purpose of Professional Development is to provide opportunities for instructional improvement for faculty to enhance student learning and student success. The intent is to enhance the overall effectiveness of the institution by providing professional development opportunities that promote innovation, inspire continued professional growth, and improve the learning and working environment at Los Angeles Harbor College.
The Professional Development/Flex Committee will be providing monthly updates on activities and workshops that have been approved for Flex credit. Please refer to the Guidelines to understand the types of activities that are acceptable. Also, any faculty member can present a workshop and receive 3 hours per hour of presentation.
