Officer Appointment Application

*This is a general application for those interested in joining the ASO senate.

Student Government Senator Contract

*This contract signifies that the candidate understands the requirements of an ASO senator and that he/she agrees to those terms.

Petition for Election to Senate Office

*This form is used to collect signatures of students that support a possible senate candidate for election.

Senator Activity Points Record

*This form is used by ASO senators to keep track of service points earned throughout the semester. 

ASO Service Points Table

*This form provides a point scale for senators to reference when filling out their points record sheet.  This table tells you how many points each activity is worth.

In Class Announcement Form

*This form is used to show proof that a senator conducted an in-class announcement.

Shared Governance Report Form

*This form is used to provide proof that a senator attended a shared governance meeting.

Agenda Item Request Form

*This form may be used by senators, club members, and members of the general public to request that a specific item or action be considered by the senate during an ASO meeting.

Bill Request Form

*This form is used by senators to submit legislation to the ASO senate for approval/disapproval.

Budget Breakdown Form

*This form must be attached to all Bill Request Forms when presenting a fiduciary bill (when requesting funds).  It provides a itemized breakdown of the bill's proposed budget.

Field Trip Excursion Form

*This form is necessary and must be completed by any student prior to attending a conference or field trip where they will be representing Harbor College. (Administrative Regulation E-77 attached to form with additional details)

RESOURCES

 

Facilities Reservation Form

*This form may be used by senators and club members who wish to reserve facilities on campus for a particular event.

i.e. Use of the quad, microphone, sound system, stage, podium, Seahawk Center, Cafeteria, etc.

The Ralph M. Brown Act

*This is a resource that outlines the California Ralph M. Brown Act.  The ASO Senate and LAHC Club meetings are subject to this law.

Student Senate for California Community Colleges (SSCCC) Website

*The SSCCC is the statewide body for community college student government.  The SSCCC participates in development of policy for California Community Colleges.

LACCD Board of Trustees

*The Board of Trustees governs the Los Angeles Community College District.
