Los Angeles Harbor College has partnered with the City of Los Angeles Community Development Department to open the first ever Community College based YouthSource Center. Funded by the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) of 1998, Los Angeles Harbor College YouthSource Center is dedicated to working with income eligible youth ages 17 to 21 in the surrounding communities. Let us work together to make a difference!
WHAT WE OFFER :
Assistance Getting Diploma/GED
Intensive Tutoring
Career Assessment
Job Skills Training
Together with the student, we build a stronger work ethic through career exploration, work readiness training, computer training, individualized assistance, college preparation and counseling.
WHO WILL HELP YOU:
Our staff includes a LAUSD PSA Counselor, Academic Counselor, Career Guidance Counseling Assistant/Case Managers and a program assistant who are here to assist you in achieving your academic goals.

3. Residential status
You do not have to be a student of LA Harbor College to recieve benefits. This center has specific requirements so come in today and check if you could qualify.
