Title V is
a five-year, federally funded grant designed to strengthen the academic
programs available to Hispanic and other first-generation, low-income
students. All five years focus on the development of new technology that
builds on or adds to existing academic programs and curriculum at Los
Angeles Harbor College.
All students
will benefit from the enhancements Title V provides for increased student
success.
The activities
developed have specific goals with measurable outcomes. They are part
of the long-term planning for the college to meet the challenges of our
increasing Hispanic enrollment, to continue to expand enrollment, and
to graduate successful students.
