The Learning Network was developed to support improvements made in Activities I and II.
It offers a learner-focused environment that addresses the specific needs of our
Hispanic students to pursue and successfully complete college.

Support for Activity I

Faculty will be provided with:
Exposure to proven teaching methodologies for increased student success.

Access to instruction in using technology for enhanced instruction and curriculum preparation.

Classroom assessment to better determine student learning styles and the support system needed.

Students will be provided with:
Service Learning experience in the community providing increased motivation derived from seeing the relevance between academic work and life experiences.

Collaborative learning teams.

Supplemental Instruction.

Mentoring.
