The Upward Bound project at Los Angeles Harbor College is proud to be able to provide the opportunity to participate in a college preparatory program to students enrolled in the Los Angeles high schools of Banning, San Pedro, and Narbonne.  Numerous students who have participated in the Upward Bound program since it began over 34 years ago, have become successful teachers, administrators, lawyers, governmental representatives, and business people.

Upward Bound is an opportunity to guarantee success to those who are selected for participation and who are willing to dedicate themselves to hard work and commitment to the project.
